Paris In Black And White

As lovely as Paris is in full color,
there is something quite hauntingly beautiful about some of it's
well-known landmarks in black and white.

The Eiffel Tower in the Spring.
The clouds over Sacre Coeur.

These beautiful male sculptures take your eyes up to the roof line
of a police station close to the Bastille.
Even Les Deux Magots
looks more interesting in black and white.
Although I miss the red of the iconic
METRO sign, I still appreciate the textures
and shape of the sign that you might miss
when it's in color.
