Paris Hand Painted Pillows ... Le French Kiss
"Le French Kiss" series was the second group of women
hand painted pillows I designed over 10 years ago. It all started
with a high-end French decorshop in Toronto who loved my
pillows but wanted a French series for their Spring collection
of gift ware. The "femmes were born and like all my
series of women pillows, the three women had a story.

The "Le French Kiss" series features three lovely Parisian women
at different stages of their lives. They meet each Saturday morning
at Les Deux Magots on St. Germaine des Pres in the Left Bank.
There they enjoy their café au lait and womanly conversations
and as expected, their talks turns to the subject
of love. Because of their difference in their ages, their view
of love reflects their stage and experiences.
Angelique is the youngest of the three women.

number of loves in her life but some of these relationships
ended in disappointment. She has decided to focus her energies
on her career as an understudy to a famous designer.
Because she savors her freedom as a single woman,
Colette enjoys a passionate and playful approach to love ...
on her terms.
Simone is a "woman of a certain age" and has been married to
Michel, a prominent Parisian businessman. But like so many women
of her age, her time taking care of her family has left little time
for herself. Her children have left the nest and now Simone
feels it's her turn to design her life and reclaim her
"essence de vie." She hopes that she and her husband will be
"essence de vie." She hopes that she and her husband will be
able to spend more time together having the fun they enjoyed when
they first married. At this stage in her life, Simone has learned
that is is as good to receive as it is to give.
