DECORATED GARDEN ROOM BOOK GIVEAWAY
Wouldn't you love to win a book that would give you some wonderful ideas about creating a decorated garden room?
This is my April Giveaway. It is a beautiful garden decor book written by Tessa Evelegh with gorgeous photographs by Debbie Patterson. The book shows you how to design and make a beautiful outdoor living space without the emphasis on gardening and growing. Create lovely restful areas in your garden where on those hot July days, you can escape with a book and a cool glass of ice tea. Tessa also includes easy garden projects that you can make to add a personal touch to your outside space. How about a "pebbled outdoor rug" or decorative effects for your pots, walls and fences? Arches, pergolas, playhouses, and water features are just a few of the topics you will read about to help you create personal touches.
I love statues in gardens. Garage sales and flea markets are excellent places to find some these treasures.
This is another sample of a lovely vignette in this book. Don't you love the texture of the judie next to the pots and plants? This would bring a corner of your garden to life with very little effort and little cost.
This is also one of my favorite things to add to my garden ... chairs. I love to collect funky old chairs from yard sales, Goodwill and even from trash day in the neighborhood. Chairs look so inviting in a garden with pot of pretty flowers sitting on their seats. I have even stacked a child's chair on top of a regular chair to give some height in a garden setting and then it's fun to add a plant on the top chair that will cascade down this handmade structure.
