COLOR, GLORIOUS COLOR

I have been madly going through magazines and blogs looking for color inspiration for my home.  This is a picture from the new SICO paint ads and I can't believe I have fallen madly in love with Macedonian Mauve.  Of course, the expanse of the room is not too shabby and looks nothing like my Victorian home but ....  who cares?

My house is all painted white inside ready for a hit of great color here and there and I'm getting so anxious now to brighten up a space or two.  I can handle one accent wall but the rest has to remain white / cream.  And the beauty of it .. if I hate it, I can just repaint the wall.  

Now, if that's the case, 

why am I still a little nervous about it????
