Girlfriend Pillows

This is Emma and she's one of the ladies of the Girlfriend Series. When I developed this group of pillows, I felt there should be a group of ladies that honored those special relationships that all of us are so lucky to have. How often do we thank those women that are always there during the good and bad moments in our life.
"MEN COME AND MEN GO BUT GIRLFRIENDS ARE FOREVER." This quote rings so true for most of us. How many times have we put a friend on the back burner when a new man stepped into our lives? Or a new child arrived in our family? Or a job was commanding a major chunk of our lives?

We are lucky if our friends understood these changing roles in our lives but I think, many times we take for granted those friendships and just assume all will be fine when the time comes that we need a friendly ear.
And this is Meredith. She's rather quirky. But girlfriends are quirky too.
Do you have friends that you could call at 4 a.m. if you needed them or would you try and make it through the night? Of all the quotes chosen by the women who buy these pillows, this is the most popular. That would signal that many, many women do have that very special person in their life that would answer a call at 4 a.m.

What is the quality of that special friend who would answer that call? Most of my friends seem to wake up at 4 a.m. most nights ... it seems to be a bewitching hour. Is this something single women might find easier to do as opposed to waking a married friend and probably her husband or partner?
And this is Maya. She was one of the first women I designed 7 years ago. And her quote says:
I have heard from so many women who still have friends whom they have known since their school days. That is really special but many of us have moved once or several times away from our childhood friends and that becomes a little more difficult to keep those early relationships alive.

Sometimes a new friend comes into your life because of an interesting circumstance and you feel as if you have known her forever. That's a special relationship as well.

How lucky we would all be if we had a great group of women friends to grow old with. There certainly would be a lot of laughs. I always laugh harder with my women friends and every year as I grow older, I realize how important they are in my life.
